Initial commit
"Initial commit" - that's the name we give every single time we push a bunch of code to a new git repository for the first time. To me that signals a commitment from the developer to keep improving that codebase, so given that I want to commit to writing more as part of a community, it may be fitting for a first blog post too ;).
Hi, I'm Cosmin, a full-stack dev growing a remote team of awesome devs to work on challenging projects.
I've struggled with the art of writing for a long time, but pushed myself to get more and more familiar with it in recent years and move past the feeling of "it's not good enough".
Most of the technical articles I wrote over the years went on my company blog, but I will try to repost some of them here if I think they are relevant here as well. In the meanwhile, you can check out all of them here: Cosmin's technical posts on Around25 blog.
In (re)starting this personal tech blog I want to connect with the tech community at large, get feedback on the ideas I write about, and share the things I discover while building software using open source libraries.
Here's a list of where my tech interests currently lie:
- Design patterns and performance improvements in Go
- System Architecture patterns
- Interesting open source services/tools that integrate well with microservices
- Topics I don't know I should know (aka unknown unknowns)
- Anything that is untrendy but valuable to a startup or an enterprise
- Standards & protocols
I am also working with Go, Elixir, NodeJs, and React so I will be following those topics closely too.
Feel free to say "Hello!" and follow me if you like what you see.
